• Contractual translator and reviser (senior translator) for the UN since 1974.
• Instructor at Woodsworth College (Practical Exercises in Translation), University of Toronto, in 1974, 75 and 76.
• Translator at the UN Headquarters in New York and at the UN's Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand (including conference interpretation), from 1967 to 1973.
